Another busy Friday for me..

Yesterday is the celebration of SRS's Nutrition Month where Jem will be presenting a song no. together with other kids. It was a busy day for me because I have to prepare a meal that we will bring in his school. I'm so busy while we were in the school because all the officers should prepare the lunch packs we have brought & contribute. Though other parents don't help...
Anyway, the effort was all worth it because Jem was in the mood, he did not show any hesitations or mood swings while there was a program. I left him alone in the stage with other kids.

Nurition Week celebration gives me headache...

Wonder why??? Because both of my 2 kids school schedule their NW celebration on the same day, that's on July 24. What will I do??? waahh..

I don't regret it...

My little girl Joyce is only 3y. and 4 mos. when I enroll her in nursery class in her school. Some says that she is too young to be in school but others tell me that it's ok. Being in school at her early age means that I want her to get better education just not academically but also for her to be socialized, have friends with others and learn how to comuunicate with others. In fact she loves being in school esp. being with her new classmates/friends. I don't have any regret, I homeschool her sionce she was 1 yo, taught her basic things, colors, shapes, numbers, etc. But I knew by the age of 3 she was somehow hesitant when I am introducing her new things to learn. That's the fact why I choose to enroll her besides she too wants to be in school already just like her Kuya. No regrets at all...

Thinking of this...

Just a few months ago when my little girl Joyce was so fascinated with balloons. Whenever she sees balloons we wil never go home without balloons esp. in birthdays or parties or even in mall. Just thinking of putting up a balloon business ...Who knows?? I have to learn a lot ...

My school girl Joyce

(both of her pix were her school uniform)

This is my update of Joyce at her 2nd week in school..

I'm glad & so happy that she allows me to go home after I just drop her to her school & then I'll go back after 2 1/2 hours to fetch her. She told me that mommies are not allowed to stay in their room, teacher will get mad. whew.. I'm happy for that.

Right now she can write big L & small l, Big I, Big H & straight, parallel & curve lines. She can differentiate the same objects & different objects. She knew gender..girl or boy. She also knew colors but before that she already knew different colors, shapes & alphabet. They have their weekly quiz last monday. She also loves to draw in her pad.

In just 2 weeks she consume 3 boxes already of colors. In her 1st set of colors there were only 3 colors in her tin box after 3 days. It's either some of them were in her classmates things maybe. Her ninang gave her colors then after 2 days all of them are broken. Just this week I brought another set & up to now they are all in good condition. I guess she knew now how to take care of her things. Her teacher allow them to keep their things & put them in their bag. Tht's good for them so that they will knew how to be responsible tih their things.

Since the school days begin she already consumed 3 pads...she loves to draw & after her drawing she will color them. I think art is her craft.. she excel in art.

She easily make friends with her classmates & when she comes home she will tell us stories about what she did in school & the fun she had with her friends/ classmates. She is so familiar with Miel, Einwyn & Zeia. She also has boy friends like Kurt ( Kurt's mom is my new friend too) & David, her 2 1/2 yo classmate. He is so young but he is very smart. She was always beside her mommy that's why Joyce thought that David's mommy is one of her teachers.

The funny side of my school girl Joyce is that she went home with 2 biscits in her lunch box. I ask her why & she just told me that her classmates gave that to her but Miel's granny told me a day after that two of her classmates want to sip in Joyce's chickie choco drink & in return Joyce ask for their biscuits. That's why she have 2 biscuits in her bag. Funny..

Being a school girl brings us more enjoyment because when she comes home she tells us new stories about her school life.

Jem at School

June 8 was the start of Jem's school days in their new uniform. Actually he has no vacation or sem break, in their school they required that under OT session the students should always come to school because they are motivated to have proper time schedule & that their behavior towards the school should be of enjoyment rather than fear. Each of them should be encourage always to be in school because once they have lapse of 3-4 sessions it will be difficult for them to adjust again.
I'm glad that Jem has shown better improvement so far... I am not expecting anything from Jem, I just want him to be independent esp. in our house. It will be a big big help for me..
That's why we love Jemboy so much because I know that he tries his best always...
I'm always thankful to the LORD because he has given us Jem ..our precious gem.

it's her 1st day in school...

She was too excited kasi nga it was her 1st day in school, kagabi pa cia prepared as in ayos na lahat ng things niya.

Well ganyan talaga...1st day pa lang. Sana tomorrow everything will work out fine with Joyce..haaay!!!

St. Raphael School in Youtube

<

This was taken last year by an Italian visitors when they visit the school & the orphanage. It was just yesterday when we saw this short film.

Bag from her Ninang Mariz

Joyce was so happy bcoz her Ninang Mariz Belamide drop by & gave her the Disney Princess bag she promise her last month.

Experimenting with her scissor...

We got her school supplies from her school last Friday & it includes notebooks, pencil, scissors etc. Since I do not allow her to play or use scissors in our house it's her 1st time to hold it & I allow her but with my guidance. I was surprised to see her hair strands in the floor, she cut her hair..good thing that she has long hair so it was not noticeable.

Joyce Simply Can't Resist Cookies & Cream Cake

My kids love the newest treat from Red Ribbon, its Cookies and Cream top with Oreo. Who can’t resist this cake?? They really love the sweetness of it. They have sweet tooth but I limit their sweet intake due to health reasons. This Cookies and Cream I swear I can give them another slice again because it is not too sweet. My daughter Joyce will surely cry again and again if I will not give her another slice of Cookies and Cream Cake plus she loves the Oreo on top of it, I’m sure it will make her smile again. She’ll be in her happy mood, showing her smiling and happy face and I’m sure she’ll be playful again. That will make our day brighter.
Just like last week, my best friend and her family visit our place and she brought along Red Ribbon’s Cookies and Cream cake. When Joyce saw the cake, I immediately saw her face smiling at me as if she was already asking if she can have a piece of it. I told her later but my friend insisted that she can eat it already. And that makes Joyce smile again.

Joyce and Her Bday Corner Appearance in Mag & Newspaper

Joyce at Moms and Kids Magazine Summer Issue. Their cover model is Sheree & her cute baby.
Joyce at Manila Bulletin Bday Corner.

This is my chosen pix always because she looks cute here... taken during my mom's bday at a resto in Macapagal seaside.

Jem and His 1st Mag Appearance

I'm not that contest fanatic..
I got the chance to see this post from an online friend & just for fun post my pix with Jem accdg. to their topic. When I saw her post about it when the mag issue is out ..wow I feel so happy to see that my entry was chosen. Even if I did not bag the main prize just to see my entry is enough for me.
NOTE: That was taken 3 years ago when I was still pregnant with Joyce.

Win A Mika Heart Shu Makeup Brush Set !!!

Wow..I wanted to have this Mika Heart Shu makeup brush set!!! It's so nice & useful.
I always believe that every woman needs to be beautiful and presentable always...Even just a foundation and lipstick is a must in every woman's bag. When I was still working I always put make-up on my face but since I'm a SAHM/WAHM now I rarely wear make-up , I only put make-up on special occassions only.
I only hope I could win this contest so I could practise putting make-up again and eventually I wanted this to be my sideline job.
Check this out if you wanted this Mika Heart Shu makeup brush set
